In today’s article from The Secret Footballer it’s all about Arsene Wenger and how TSF feels he’s come in for unfair criticism. It’s another good read and one which seems to yield no identity clues until he drops a massive one in at the end.
“I saw how he dealt with his players and the staff around him when one of his players suffered a horrific injury in a game against a team that I was playing for.”
I think we can all guess which incident this is talking about.

Was that Eduardo’s double broken leg…against Stoke? Did Dave Kitson play for Stoke at the time? Hmm…. He might be slowly giving himself away here as the end of his career might be coming to a close… Good detective work by the way whoever read the article and posted this thread/discussion :D ^^^^
Wait, sorry lads. Eduardo broke his leg against Birmingham… Did any TSF suct play for Birmingham during this time? Or is he using this as a cover up, where another Arsenal player got injure but it was less serious? Maybe a Jack Wilshere or Aaron Ramsay injury?
Obviously Shawcross/Ramsey. Dave Kitson was on the bench that day, as was James Beattie.
Since Beattie openly conducts some interviews on TSF’s site you’d imagine this means TSF is pretty much confirmed as being Kitson.
kitson was a Stoke sub in 2010 when Ryan Shawcross broke Aaron Ramsey’s leg in 2 places
Diaby was on the wrong end of assault at the hands of Sunderland’s Dan Smith
Could we be going as far back as Robert Pires’ knee injury in his first season?
Could be injuries to Diaby, Ramsey, Eduardo, Sagna have all had bad breaks….Eduardo I always felt was the most horrific.
Alex Ferguson talked about Arsene Wenger not having 20 minute red wine chat during the days when Arsenal and United were genuine rivals. Also the days before they became friends. Another point I would make is to check if Stoke ever beat Arsenal at home because there is a quote about one of his managers detesting Arsene and always wanting to beat him. One day they did and he says no one imagined arsenal would be coming to play at his ground in the premier league and getting turned over.
Stoke have beaten Arsenal at the Britannia Stadium in the Premier League twice – in 08-09 and 10-11. Kitson was at the club in the 08-09 season.
It’s a no brainer. It is Dave Kitson. Even found a link from bbc sport from 2009 in which tony pulis describes dave as having lots of off field issues. It is him beyond any doubt.
