3. Bruce at Birmingham, played under Souness at Blackburn, Allardyce and Kean at his second stint at Blackburn
4. Blackburn > Birmingham
5. Yes With Blackburn Rovers
8/9. Could be Souness at Blackburn as he managed to alienate Dunn and other players at Blackburn (according to Wiki) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Graeme_Souness#Blackburn_Rovers
15. plays for Blackburn Rovers.
16. http://www.football-lineups.com/match/77476/ – only played in injury time at the end of the second half against Arsenal at the Emirates…2nd April 2011
This weeks TSF:
“the friend of mine who will probably be reading this column in a taxi”
An obvious reference to Steve Kean and his recent boozy escapades.
It’s Dunn, or Morten Gamst Pedersen
1. He is English
2. Is Currently Married

In the 2nd March 2012 column, TSF refers to our captain will go down as one of the most successful in the club’s history without really earning it.” Henning Berg was club captain in 2001-2002 when Blackburn won the club’s first League Cup over Spurs. He was liked by the fans, but maybe not by the players?
The article describes “a very tough time on the pitch” that coincided with the captain losing the team by not showing leadership. Skipper Kenny Cunningham left Birmingham City acrimoniously after the Blues went down. Steve Bruce also lost the dressing room that year.
Well I think in the main clues the has an African friend who played/plays in Russia really does narrow who that could be, there just are so few.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_foreign_Russian_Premier_League_players
Looking at the list Chris Samba is a strong candidate.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christopher_Samba
He played at Blackburn.
Dunn Seems to fit many of the checklist criteria. Also, the only African former Premiership Player who plays in Russia who I can think of is Chris Samba, who played for Blackburn like Dunn
Also, Blackburn played Malmo in a friendly in 1998 where a 17 year old Zlat was playing (tweet clue)
Dunn’s father figure was his Grandad, not his dad.
Its not David Dunn.
His transfer history does not fit. http://www1.skysports.com/football/player/6783/david-dunn
Needs to have a multi-million pound move – for which his remaining contract was “paid up” – see the book.
