David James’ Observer article (25/03/12) is very similar to the Secret Footballer’s article (24/03/12) making the same argument that more scans wouldn’t have saved Fabrice or other footballers from heart stopping moments. TSF had a knee injury a couple of seasons back… If David James isn’t TSF, I reckon he knows who is!
I think David James has been unfairly ruled out, the arguments for him not being a keeper, having to be white and a current premier league player are all flawed! Played with Paulo, bound to love ‘Arry, English, several transfers, obviously mates at Liverpool
My biggest clue was the talk of him sniffing a ball before a game, there’s footage of him doing that on youtube! The talks of Roy Keane, Cantona and Cole & Yorke would put him at right age!
I know he’s been ruled out but PLEASE reconsider!
Looking at the cold hard facts that are put forward (relegated on the last day of the season knowing a result elsewhere made it inevitable, back to back player of the season awards,…), David James fits the bill.
Got to be David James surely. James’s writing style is the same as TSF’s.
Heard TSF on talksport today , with voice scrambled but my first thought was David James , the breathing and the way he spoke said jamo to me !!
