A clue laden personal account of being frozen out in TSF’s article today.

The article focuses on Juan Mata’s current situation at Chelsea but TSF talks of his own experience at a club he’d been at ‘relatively recently’. The clues are there:

1. He was left out for about 6 or 7 games.
2. The manager blamed the fans saying the atmosphere went sour when TSF got the ball. So he was seemingly unpopular amongst the fans before being frozen out.
3. In his first match back after being left out he came on as a substitute with the team losing 2-1 and acted as the catalyst as his team went on to win 3-2.
4. The manager lost the dressing room in the aftermath of this match and left the club not long after.

Some juicy clues there. Can anyone delve deep, or even remember this situation to work out which club/manager/match is being talked about here?

“…after an absence of half-a-dozen games or so, I found myself included in the squad again. In my first match back, I came off the bench while we were losing 2-1 and, if I may say, turned the game on its head and we won 3-2.”
