9. Alan Pardew at West Ham?
I don’t think he’s ever played with a lot of French players though.
His wiki page and the source it came from said he disliked Curbs (him is referring to Curbishley in the article)
Speaking exclusively to People Sport, Konchesky said: “There was, and still is, a lot of unhappy players at the club who don’t like him. I am one of them and he knows that, and that is why I left the club.

For the French thing I looked through his Fulham, West Ham and Charlton days and I don’t think he has even played with a French player before N’Gog. I might have missed a year or two because I only looked every 2nd year for Charlton but I doubt they loaned in a bunch of french men for a year.
If he said ‘was and still is’ as apposed to ‘were and still are’ that doesn’t fit with someone who writes well.
The French thing, he could be referring to Dalmat, Kanoute and Blondel at Spurs. Ok, only one of them is actually French, but they all speak French.

This article would seem to confirm that he has a wife and daughter.
6: Bellion and Aliadere, West Ham, 2005.
7: Can think of a few. Isn’t Nevland really stroppy about things like this?
8: Hodgeson, clearly.
9: Above
10: You’d hope so
11: Well, Jamie appears a big fan judging by his glowing articles in 2010, but I took this as sarcasm. Either way, he was at West Ham (as a youngster) when Redknapp was in charge, and Redknapp certainly appears messianic to young footballers. Can’t find any specific quotes but it’s certainly something Konchesky could comment on.
16: Appeared in both Nott’s v Reading, 09th April, and Swansea v Nott’s, 19th March. Did not play in the 2nd April game.
17: Pretty sure.
That leaves 13/14, and I’m not sure on his personal life. It’s almost certainly Konchesky.
Just seen the Guardian no long say TSF is a premiership footballer. He’s now ‘our man inside the game’: http://www.guardian.co.uk/profile/the-secret-footballer
This might not be significant, but if it is then it’s another factor in favour of Konchesky andEuell, who are now ex-prem players.
*no longer
He was ‘our man inside the game’ last season too. The only reason we knew he was a premiership player was because he stated it in his first article.
euell and turner joined saints and sunderland respectively on the last day. however, both deals were done with time to spare. konchesky’s move to spurs in 2003 was last-minute. it was only reported on sept 1st, whereas the evening papers had the transfers of the other two boys on aug 31st. paulie it is.
I have met Paul Konchesky and he was as thick as fucking pig shit, I don’t believe for a second it’s him.
Surely he wouldn’t have had a contract shoved under his nose for the loan to Tottenham though?
Besides, I don’t think Konchesky is that clever.
Not a chance, unless the column is submitted to the Guardian in crayon. My mate had to meet him through work and told me he is one of the thickest people he has ever met.
It can’t be Konchesky. From his article, May 2012, he talks about being relegated on the last day of the season – with a small hope of staying of staying up through a good result from somewhere else – and more importantly he talks about going to another prem. league club the following season. PK did go down on the last day of the season with Charlton, but stayed with them the next season. Also he is not currently playing for a prem.league side.
Nevland wasnt stroppy at all, he left for his age and wish to return to norway, but he played with tevez for west ham
Konchesky went through three youth systems and TSF went through none, he also didn’t go through the lower divisions which TSF did.
