Yesterday TSF’s article was about Spurs’ signing of Belgian winger Nacer Chadli and how TSF believes it is a win-win signing for the North London club.
He talks about being at a Premier League club that paved the way in the model of buying players with the aim of selling on at a profit. Who could this club be? Get your comments in below.
He says the club were:
actively sourcing first-team players for sub-£1 million before, hopefully, selling them for £3 million, £4 million or £5 million-plus.
He said that they also bought players for a few hundred thousand pounds who had no chance of getting in the first team with a view to playing them in the reserves an then selling them for over £1 million.
The players bought were “from all over Europe” and loaned out to clubs in the Championship and leagues of equivalent standard in Europe.

This is what Newcastle United have been doing under the Ashley regime.
