Somebody’s not a very happy secret footballer … and you can see why.
In today’s article TSF writes an open letter to PFA chief Gordon Taylor regarding last weeks breaking news of his huge gambling problem.
TSF is quite clearly incensed and disillusioned. Have a read of the article.
Meanwhile, his clue this week is that he’s been involved in a few public scraped, one being where he was arrested and subsequently told by the FA that he would not have an international career.
Does anyone know of such an incident?
Remember that time I got arrested and the FA rang to say that the car that was coming to pick me up for international duty was now not coming and would never come again?

Did it not also mention that he had written a book on football? Any of the front runners known authors?
In January 2008, Dave Kitson was stopped by police whilst driving late at night near his home in Shinfield, Berkshire, and was charged with failing to provide a breath sample. He appeared at Reading Magistrates’ Court on 18 January 2008, and received an 18-month driving ban, a £1000 fine, and was ordered to pay £60 costs.
In December 2007, then-England boss Steve McClaren went to the Madejski Stadium to watch Reading v Middlesboro to view some players – including 27-year old Dave Kitson (who scored in that very game). He was 100% considered for an England call up by McClaren. The England boss said how he was “impressed” with Kitson.
Then Kitson got arrested.

Surely this isn’t a clue at all, given that TSF has written a book called “I Am The Secret Footballer,” which is about being a footballer?

In TSF he states having to leave a club because not getting first team football, has Kitson ever not got regular premier league football?
